Google and Playstation

Today were were able to tour the Google cloud platform. The facilities at Google are what seem like a Utopia to us back home! On campus so many different tools and services at their disposal. They have cafes in each of their buildings, gyms/fitness centers, and their own exclusive bikes and shuttle system in order to not only increase productivity but also as an attempt to keep their employees more comfortable and healthy. Every building had a different theme and each room kept this theme and it seemed that there was nothing out of place in each of the four different buildings we went to. Although the Cloud Platform isn’t something in our fields, we were still able to get a glimpse of what it would look like working for google knowing that they have job opportunities for us with branches like Youtube.  We also visited the Sony PlayStation branch and we took a look into what goes into making a video game soundtrack. The amount of rewards that Sony has received for musical scores from video games is jaw dropping and understandably so. After hearing the final scores for Spiderman and God of War in atmos 7.1 surround sound we were completely blown away!
